While we can confirm that the internet rumour linking Phoebe with a £30 million move to Real Madrid is unfounded, we are still hoping Lionel Messi will agree to be next year’s intern.

Exams Deputy editor Phoebe spent much of May and June helping her youth group to revise. Now she keeps waking up in a cold sweat, after a recurring nightmare about a science exam that she hasn’t revised for. We now have a periodic table wall chart in our office, just as a precaution.

90s Pop Journalist and man-child Jamie was on board the nostalgia train this month after discovering that work experience girl Hannah didn’t know that Justin Timberlake used to be in a band and was once part of the hottest couple in showbiz. His month consisted of listening to Steps, S Club 7 and perhaps most tragically B*witched. Editor Martin now feels about a million years old.

Blisters After completing a frankly quite straightforward sounding 36 mile walk for charity, Martin has been complaining non-stop of various endurance-related ailments. Sympathy from the rest of the office has been minimal, on the basis that these injuries were earned ON A WALK.

Playing tough Designer and staff iron man Lloyd completed the Tough Mudder self-flagellation challenge as part of a team of strangers. Lloyd managed to complete the entire 12 mile course without realising that one of his team mates was a well-known pop star. As the crowds circled for autographs at the finish line, Lloyd shuffled sadly back into obscurity.
