From Penn and Teller to Derren Brown, I’m basically a fan of watching anything that makes me go ‘Woah. How did they… what the… eh?’ So when a magic set was sent into the office I jumped at the chance to amaze my co-workers. Within minutes I had chopped someone in half, made my desk disappear and caused general madness.
This isn’t true, because as fun as this magic set is, it’s somewhat limited. By the end of it I could make two balls appear out of one cup and guess someone’s age. That was about it. Still, I massively enjoyed it. Massively. And for kids (which, in reality, it is aimed at) it’s perfect; not too complicated, but challenging enough for them to feel proud. But adults, it’s not for you. So don’t get too excited.
