    Mentoring: White privilege

    2017-11-22T00:00:00Z

Have you had any personal experiences of prejudice or injustice? The danger of privilege is that the privileged rarely see the extent of their power and position. Forming faith rituals: New year with God

    2017-11-22T00:00:00Z

New year isn’t necessarily a family event designed with younger children in mind. My youngest, currently four, has put in a request to stay up late this new year and watch the Bee Gees, which is what she considers to be ‘new year’. (Just to clarify, last year we watched a documentary about the Bee Gees with my other daughter as she loved the music, and it was safer than most stuff that was broadcast late on New Year’s Eve!)

    Craft: New heaven, new Earth

    2017-11-22T00:00:00Z

The book of Revelation is one of the most image-rich books of the Bible, and Revelation 21:1-8 and 22:12-21 are full of language about a new heaven and Earth, and what it will be like there. These craft ideas will help children explore some of the key themes of the passage in a hands-on, visual way.
